WORKER - TL 4-4.3 mm; a little larger than the type; main difference
being the large petiole (as in nigricans), whereas the
postpetiole is more deeply scalloped behind and longitudinally notched
as in the type. Seen from above, the mesonotum is distinctly concave
in the middle; pronotum as type. Also separable from type by the shiny
occiput, with very fainy sculpturation, including the hair pits, which
still are visible. Other sculpturation on head similar to type, but
generally feebler. Propodeal spines of similar length.
FEMALE - TL 8-8.2 mm; head as worker, but rust coloured; rest brown,
appendages more red. Propodeum with dentiform tubercles. Wings smoky
rust, especially towards the bases. Mesonotum and scutellum shiny and
almost smooth. Postpetiole as in the worker.
