Emery's (1901a) description is at
Wheeler (1922) also listed it from Guinea (Mamou, by F. Silvestri) and Congo. Bernard (1952) described it as probably common in small termite nests throughout French West Africa. The species lodges in minute societies in cavities in the walls of Procubitermes and other termites. Lamotte found 9 workers in the savanna at Kéoulenta, Guinea.
