WORKER - TL 2.3-2.5 mm; no frontal carinae or antennal scobes; dorsum of head densely and sharply reticulate-punctate, propodeal spines short and broad. Colour uniform yellow (Bolton, 1982: 330, illustrated).

Collected at Katanga, Elizabethville. Gabriel, by J. Bequaert. Bequaert (1922, p 370) described how it had established regular formicaries, with larvae and pupae, in an old gall of a tree at Elizabethville.
