Atewa (Atewa Forest Reserve), collected by pkd, by D. Leston, 12.vii.1969, with holotype, 3 other workers and 2 females; presumably totally arboreal and from primary forest .

WORKER - TL 6.5-7.0 mm; propodeum marginate laterally and posteriorly but sides of propodeum projecting strongly beyond the lateral marginations. Sides of head in front of the eyes concave in full-face view. No erect hairs and very sparse pubescence; colour black, with antennal funiculi yellow-brown.
