WORKER - TL 1.9-2.1 mm; like Pyramica sharra in having broadly scale-like to suborbicular hairs all over the head, separable by the head being shorter and CI higher (CI 63-67), antennal scapes also shorter and SI lower (SI 63-70); colour medium to light brown (Bolton, 1983: 287, not illustrated).

Recorded from Cameroun, Nko'emvon (D.A. Jackson) and near Yaoundé (G. Terron) (Bolton, 1983).

Three workers were collected in Ghana from leaf litter under primary forest at Kade in the semi-deciduous forest zone by Belshaw & Bolton (1994b).
