In Ghana, Bolton collected several specimens from the
stub of a rotten cocoa branch at CRIG, and reported that A.B.S.
King thought it occurred in 2-3 of every 1000 pkd samples at CRIG
(Bolton, 1971a). Later, a single worker was found in cocoa at Kade
by Majer (1975, 1976b), using pkd. Bolton (1983) added collections
from CRIG (D. Leston; C.A. Collingwood).
Clearly an arboreal species. |
