The reference to T. blochmanni can be directly read as T. sericeiventre. Bolton's modern description (1980) is at {original description}.

WORKER - TL 4.3-4.6 mm; separated from similar species, all from eastern or southern Africa by its larger size, short blunt pilosity on all surfaces, and a prominent protuberance at the lower occipital corner; colour dull red, dorsum of alitrunk and petiole with fine punctate-granular sculpturation (Bolton, 1980, illustrated).
