{Tetramorium candidum}The photomontage of the holotype from Zaïre is collated from http://www.antweb.org/specimen.do?name=castype13387&project=

{Tetramorium candidum}The photomontage is of a specimen from Tanzania, Igire Hill, Mkomazi Game Reserve, 3°54.75' S 37°48.58' E, pkd collection from Heywoodia lucens, 10.i.1996, by G McGavin. Other images can be seen in the folder at - {original description} Apart from the more prominent small propodeal teeth, this seems a close match to the Bolton (1980) description of candidum; in life the colour is more true to the "light brown" given by Bolton, belying the colour in the Antweb images.
